
How can I use the Excel match function?
Match function:
The MATCH function is an Excel function that is used to find the position of a specified value in a range of cells. It returns the relative position of the first instance of the lookup value in the lookup array.
Syntax:
=MATCH(lookup value, lookup array, [match type])
lookup value: The value you want to find in the lookup array.
lookup array:: The range of cells where you want to search for the lookup value.
match type: (optional) 1 for an approximate match (default), or 0 or -1 for an exact match.
